Comparisons have been made between Truong An Nac and the popular Chinese period drama, Lưu Ly Mỹ Nhân Sát (The Legend of Dugu). Both are historical dramas, and Thanh Nghi, who plays the main role in Lưu Ly Mỹ Nhân Sát, is also attracting attention in Truong An Nac. Thanh Nghi's portrayal of Tieu Thua Huc in Truong An Nac showcases his versatility as an actor. In this series, audiences will no longer see him endure physical hardships like in Lưu Ly Mỹ Nhân Sát, but instead witness his character's resilience on the battlefield and the emotional turmoil within his soul.
